Here are some unedited clips from Deljon’s new camera. Backwards crooked to 180 off looks like the coolest feeling trick.

World’s Longest Manual

“Come watch a record breaking manual (in a gorilla suit).

Upon watching the aw-inspiring video of a Zachary Hutelin’s world record setting manual on a mountain bike, Erik Elstran and I have decided to host our own afternoon of firsts. On January 14th, we will be filming the world’s longest manual on a mountain bike in a gorilla suit and we need some fans to cheer him along. If you’re free on the 14th, stop by the Greenway (we’ll be filming near the bike shop) and cheer on the gorilla as he makes history.

Also, proper attire includes, but is not limited to, sportswear, jerseys, cheeseheads, etc. If you have any questions, let us know. We hope to see everyone on the 14th.”

Welcome to Sunday

Welcome to the Team / Erik Elstran from Sunday Bikes

If you haven’t already watched Erik’s new Welcome to Sunday video, here it is. It’s actually kind of strange how there are so many videos being made every day, yet they are all basically the same. One doesn’t even fully realize this until Erik comes out with a new video and we remember how creative and original bmx can still become. A lot of pros today seem to have dialed in a set number of tricks, and progress themselves by taking those tricks to bigger gaps, rails, ramps, etc. Erik takes a whole different approach and doesn’t stop coming up with brand new ideas. It reminds me of how Jim C. did all those crazy new grinds on Road Fools. They were done on a basic short handrail, but still blew everyone’s minds because nothing like that had been done before. It set the foundation for people sending them down the scariest of setups today. That’s what I see in Erik’s riding. He is on the front lines of creating what riders in a couple years will be perfecting.
