Rotterdam kid

Yeah, and I’m having a house art show at Nate’s with one of his friends, his roommate’s band Sunset arrival will be playing as well. Room #4 above the woman’s clinic downtown door 200 off of main? I think.

Hide and Seek

Somewhere on the internet you will find a new video from Grant C. of Jeff Dowhen and Mike Hinkens riding Austin. Too bad they disabled embedding of the video (It’s 2012 right? I’d give ya the url but hey- they obviously don’t want people to share!) so I’ll give you a rundown of what happens:

Oh cool, they have trains there! Yup, there’s Mike. Jeff appears to be fondling a plant. Caps and fake small caps are used together in the title text, typography enthusiasts everywhere just vomited. Tire bonk 180s are awesome. Mike fell pretty hard. Glad to see a peg bonk. Didn’t expect the 180 out of the icepick from Jeff. Awesome! That toboggan would have looked better switch. Half peacock to can can wins the video. Too bad Mike doesn’t have plastic pegs, could have iced that rail instead. Long round rail feeble to 180 looked perfect. Tire bonk AND a slider. Is this real life!? I want to ride that bank to rail setup for the rest of my life. Mike is doing work on it. DP to hop over DP. Can can nose jam on a seemingly super hard to ride thing. Barspin 180 to halfcab barspin, I’ve always liked the symmetry of those. Famous ledge spot that everything ever has been done one. Except that. A Kristof White wheelchair ramp hop. Jeff just bounced his butt after he landed it. I think Andreas had a name for it? He was talking about Chase TallTHart doing them. Kinked rail 180 one upped with a hard 180. Flashing bike light distracted me from whatever the heck just happened. Double peg to crooked looked kind of cocky. Mike with a backwards manual, finally. Jeff needs to slow down. OH GOD theres the type again.

Where’s Jake?

Someday you will die somehow and someone’s going to steal your carbon.

North of Ten on Mega Tour

It’s something that I can’t imagine anyone actually noticing or caring about. “Hey, what shirt is that pro wearing!?” I still think it’s super cool that Reed wore a North of Ten shirt in Mega Tour. Seeing something you remember conceiving the idea for not only being made into a physical t-shirt, but then having that shirt in a video that thousands more will watch puts a big ol smile on my face. Thanks Reed!
