CKI Contest Video

Here’s a video from The Come Up showing a bit of what went down a couple days ago at the Chad Kerley Invitational. If you can believe it, it’s still missing a lot of the great riding that one saw when watching live.

New Roland Popa edit

Roland messaged @northoften with his latest web video where he gets his James Franco on. The riding and editing are both solid- and Roland seems like a real nice dude from our little chats on the Twitters, so I’d recommend you press play.

Chad Kerley Invitational 2012

WOW. Did you guys happen to watch the Chad Kerley Vitamin Water Invitational? It was four and a half hours of amazingness that will no doubt go down as one of the best contests of this decade. Apparently when you get together 30 of the best street riders in the world and put a bunch of cash on the line you can get some crazy results.

The riding level was top notch, and my only complaints are from things that are probably bound to happen when you have your very first contest in what I’m assuming to be an annual series.

Here are the contest results I copied and pasted from TCU:

Obstacle 1: (red/blue rails)
1st- Garrett Reynolds
2nd- Alex Kennedy
3rd- Rob Wise

Obstacle 2: (green rail & box)
1st- Garrett Reynolds
2nd- Stevie Churchill
3rd- Sean Sexton

Obstacle 3: (the island)
1st- Garrett Reynolds
2nd- Rob Wise
3rd- Stevie Churchill

Obstacle 4: (new railhop, winner takes all)
Stevie Churchill

Overall Rider of the Day:
Garrett Reynolds

CKI Live Stream

Chad Kerley’s Invitational, which is being held today at The Bakery in Chicago, will be live casted on Ride’s website. It starts at 4PM CST, so by the time you cancel your plans for today/call in to work and make a heaping bowl of popcorn it should be just about starting.

Jeff Klugiewicz and Mike Luplow in This Is The Spot

If you haven’t seen This Is The Spot, a local scene full-length DVD from Logan Reynolds, I think it’s about time you checked it out. Hit that link in the video description below to buy a copy. Local scene videos are hard to come by these days, so let’s reward those who put in the effort.

“This is the first section I am releasing from my first full length DVD, “This Is The Spot.” I will be releasing a new section every week or two until the whole video is out on the web.
I still have a bunch of videos left and I’m still struggling to break even at this point. If you enjoy the sections, please visit this link to buy a copy. I am now selling them for $6 SHIPPED to your door.”
